UPDATE: Charlie has been diagnosed and he is on the Autism spectrum "Mild/moderate" and will be getting referred to ABA. The specialist believes that with all the right therapies he will thrive! So heres to a new journey with my sweet little boy. I am proud to be a autism mommy to my dear charlie bear!!!!!! send any advice my way... I have the same diagnosis for my son who is 5.5. Now take that diagnosis to the school district so they can give him his educational diagnosis and get him into a preschool and get that part of it going next school year when things open. Best thing I could do for my little guy.
Also, you’re not alone here. A lot of us have young kids on the spectrum. Anytime you want to talk, I’m here and I’m sure others would be open to it also. It takes a village
My son started early intervention at a year old and will soon age out. I already signed him up for the pre-school his sister goes too and once he ages out of early intervention they will bring in the district.. hes also has speech therapy👍🏼they did tell me he has to be in pre-school because they want him to start learning a.s.a.p. God willing he should be starting pre-school this year when he turns 3. I'm so excited to see him progress even more then he already has.. thank you for all the advice and for offering to talk if I need too. Thanks for being apart of my village ❤
