It’s ridiculous. We don’t get a break this year apparently. I worked in trauma for 4 years but then I switched to a step down trauma center when I had kids because it was getting too much. But I love working in the ED. But you definitely see the worst of people and what people can do in there. It’s taught me so many lessons about life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

@mommabear3579, Yeah, it’s been non stop since this whole thing began. One thing after another. How cool! I don’t blame you, having kids and being in trauma can really be eye opening and hard to deal with some of the things that come in. I work the night shift. I completely agree with you girl, there are things you learn and you can’t learn them anywhere else.

@ourfamilyof8, I really don’t know where else I would work. I absolutely love it. I have done days and nights and they are both crazy for different reasons. Lately they’ve let us pick up whenever because of everything going on so it’s nice.
