Exactly. Use it as a learning moment. I feel bad that you feel like you have to leave this app because of the responses you received, because mom.life is technically a community where moms support each other. It's often hard to admit or even realize that we are racist because we don't want to be... but it happens. I have actually LEARNED a lot reading the posts yesterday and today and I'm glad I didn't put my foot in my mouth saying something insensitive or stupid. Anyway, I hope you are okay. I know my anxiety would be sky high if I was in your situation... also, please don't think you are a terrible human being. You're not. Women "attacking" you for being racist isn't right either, but do look into what white privilege is and maybe you'll be able to change your tune.
If you would rather tuck tail and run away than to use this as a learning moment where you can grow and do better, that’s on you. Your comments were disgusting and ignorant and shouldn’t be tolerated. Mods don’t have power here like they should but if they did, I would have stepped in and stopped you.
