What are some good things that happened because of the coronavirus? What are you happy about right now that you don’t have to deal with?
I don’t have to have unwanted guests come over since the lockdown. I don’t have to see my crazy annoying half siblings. They only come here through permission of the court with visitation rights to see my dad but they haven’t been over in months, so that’s pretty damn good for me lol. Besides, they aren’t interested in him, just his money.
I am also happy that I don’t have to deal with the nurse from my sons school. She used to bother me a bunch of times throughout the school year, pushing me to bring my son to all kinds of unnecessary doctor appointments. I’m glad that I don’t have to run around like a maniac all the time just to prove to them that he’s fine. It was ridiculous. They claimed many times that he had the chicken pox when he didn’t. He just gets eczema a few times a year. My sons dermatologist and his pediatrician dislike the school nurse and school staff. They are like these people don’t know what the hell they are taking about lol.

I like the fact that we get more family time. Before we were always on the run and now we have time to sit down and really enjoy being a family. We are playing board games more, having dance parties and way more home cooked meals.

I love the fact that my kiddo takes a nap again 🙌...and that I have a good reason to avoid people and drink more than I probably should 😉...

That my husband has been able to spend more time with my daughter and form a much tighter bond now that he’s working from home. Even if it does mean I now have a daddy’s girl. And I love that my daughter is no longer constantly sick from being around other kids.
