the issue is much bigger than target they are targeting all businesses family owned small businesses ethnic owned businesses it's no longer concentrated in one area at this point but wide spread do i feel safe taking ny child to daycare tomorrow because i have to no not really will i sleep tonight no likely not do i worry about my 17 yo African American child being harmed by police yes do i feel this rioting will help anything no it is harmimg the very community the same ppl live in who want justice they have no transportation to work no way to get food for their children and loved ones it's not just a target or just an auto zone it's hundreds of businesses being destroyed

Why not riot AFTER a not guilty verdict and the cops are allowed to walk free? Have the family FILED a report to have these officers locked up and tried? Looting will solve NOTHING, but it will make us richer, whether just by having the merchandise, or selling the merchandise. I'm disappointed and disgusted that black people are looting.
Burn the city to the ground? I'm FOR THAT! Attack the attackers? I'm FOR THAT! Burn down the police station? I'm FOR THAT! Because the police is useless so there's no need for them to take up space. They don't help, they don't come when called, unless you're white or you're in the "right/white" neighborhood, so what's their purpose? Burn even the ashes left over after. I'm def eye for eye, sure it will leave us all blind, but I'm tired of only the black people being left blind.
The peaceful protest scene is useless and pointless. Maybe we should start attacking before they attack us. They're all so scared of us anyway, let's give them a real reason (several even,) to be scared... to fear for their lives, to call the cops, for the cops to show up. I've always said AmeriKKKa needs another civil war, cuz things GOT done with the civil war. Maybe all that was left broken will get fixed the second time around. I believe VIOLENCE GETS THINGS DONE! You may not accept it, but you can't deny it.

Burn down the precinct, burn down the courthouse, hell, burn down target if you want, but burn all the goods and merchandise in there too. It showed a lot of drug use and alcohol is being involved it’s just a big party at the moment when they wake up and realize they did nothing but destroy all their own lives I’m sure it’ll be a different story. They stole all the atm money also this is nothing but a bunch of street thugs thank god I don’t live in that poor community. I pray for the innocent people
No, it doesn't hurt the big corporations but it does hurt all the innocent workers who are now out of jobs. Everyday regular people who had nothing to do with what happened. You cannot protest violence against innocents with violence against innocents. What happened to George Floyd is wrong and absolutely disgusting but 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I agree. Racism is disgusting, but what will happen to those who lost their jobs? The family businesses that were lost?...unemployment claims right now are super backed up(I have been waiting 6 weeks for my claim to be approved)
I understand the anger, but people who didn't have anything to do with it are getting part of the consequences.

While I wouldn’t loot myself, I’m black and know what it’s like to be treated like a rag doll and a piece of shit by the police simply for driving by and my rental car fitting the description of someone they were looking for. I had literally just gotten to town and was on my way to my hotel. I had done nothing wrong but drive a silver car and look black. Dead ass serious.
So I get the anger. Peaceful protest hasn’t worked in this country. The actual peaceful groups are being looked at by the FBI as terrorist threats instead of community leaders and police coming together with those same people and figuring a way to work it out. That includes firing people who are causing so much harm with their biases. Instead we see community leaders and police coverups and hush money aka settlements and this KEEPS HAPPENING. It’s not getting better in this country, it’s getting WORSE. Even more so since we have an obvious set of racists running this country...yeah I said it!
What’s happening right now is attention seeking behavior. Plain and simple. I’m not judging anyone on this one. I know they’re tired because deep down I am too. My son is black and has a social and communication disorder. One day that could be him. People don’t get that this beautiful tan melanin creates can also be an automatic target on your back....
