Not to start an argument! Cuz I know it’s a touchy personal belief subject, buttttt when did all you girl mommas get your daughters ear pierced? Or I guess what is the youngest age? I think it’s after the first shots they can get it done but anyways I want to get my daughters done when this covid stuff is done! It’ll be at a tattoo place that I got mine done 🙂 very safe and clean!
My oldest got hers done at 5 months.
My youngest at 11 or 12 months month, don’t remember.
Im waiting till my daughter can say she wants them. I don't feel right doing to her because it's cute. If she's 5 or 6 and would like it done I'd be ok with that.
Both of my girls were right at 4months. First one had it done in pediatricians office second one was at a piercing place. Both did great. More frightened by a stranger being near them than anything. I’d say the first one was worse since they did one at a time. The second one there were two people and they did it at the same time and it was like it never happened, so quick and they checked quite a few times before doing it to make sure they would be even! I recommend this way vs one at a time. Both girls still have pierced ears and don’t mess with them and they never got infected.
Planned to get them early on with our first but had to wait due to health issues, 17 months. Dd2 was 7 months. If we have another we will probably do it sooner.
The Piercing Pagoda is where we have taken ours.
My daughter got her ears pierced for her 5th birthday. She had been asking since she was 4 so I told her she could when she was 5. No problems at all. She didn’t cry and she felt so proud to be a big girl. Just have to make sure you clean them regularly and longer than what they suggest. One of hers got infected but I think it’s because it was too tight. We cleaned it twice a day and it cleared up right away.
My girls doctors office actual did my Oldest she got hers done at 7 months they won’t do it before. The youngest got hers at 1.
I’m still waiting. I don’t feel comfortable doing that to a baby. But definitely make sure you go to an AAP piercer, not a place that uses a piercing gun.
Yup going to the same place that does all my piercings! Very very clean and I trust them! They also did my tattoos lol I love them!
Mine were very small and it was difficult to find a place. I feel like tattooist would have been more open minded but I was very judged throughout the entire thing. Except by the person who actually did it. I was worried our 4th was going to be a girl and I would have had a difficult time finding a place to do it. As far as regretting getting theirs done when I did, not at all! They love them!
My mom and dad used to be midwives and they had mamas push the baby out and take their earrings out and pop them in their babies ears. 🙃
Whatttttt that’s so awesome and sweet! I have a set of earrings that I had when I was smaller I want to use for her! They are real gold too and I’ll know she won’t have an allergic reaction!
Around 4-5 months for both. They only cried for like 2 seconds. If you get em done I’d recommend when they are infants or teens. My friend took her daughter around 4-5 and she had a fiiiiit
That’s what I plan on doing! As an infant to avoid the fits of them thinking they are ready but not really 😂 otherwise if I don’t do it she can wait till she is 16 lol
@paigerue2013, yes exactly. All the babies I’ve seen get them done took it like a champ lol
I was going to do it at 3 months but with the virus al professional peircers are closed so now ill be waiting until shes old enough to want to and understand itll hurt and she can't play with them. 🤷♀️
