I know I've asked this before, but feeling a little disheartened at the moment. Has anybody successfully conceived after coming straight off the depo injection? I've now been off the injection 9 months, but I've read so many articles about how it can take up to 2 years for your cycles to return to normal 😩

It took me a year to have our little girl after coming off the injection 🙈

When I was 1 st on the depo injection and come of it, it took me 5 year to have my 1s shes now nearly 4 in October , I then went back on as was most effective and one of my medications I'm on dosent effect the depo i come of that 2 year ago as wasent at all helping, its took me 2 year to fall pregnant with 2nd currently 14 weeks 4 days, but suffered 2 miscarriages last year wasent sure what it was down to but had cin3 precancerous cells removed and some of my cervix removed in June last year, but everyones bodys different. X

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages last year 😔. Thank you, its given me a little more perspective on how long it may take. Congratulations on your pregnancy though, that's really good news🙂. I'm not sure I ever want to go back onto the depo in the future, it was really convenient, but this has really put me off.

all never be going back in it for sure, it's really not worth it tbh especially if your wanting more children in the future I wish you all the luck in the world that you fall pregnant sooner rather than later it can be a bit of a bumper would this be your 1st or? X

thank you 🙂. No it'll be my 2nd. I pretty much fell pregnant straight away with my first, but I was on the implant then. As soon as i had it removed, my cycles returned to normal straight away. After having my first I just went on the injection as I thought it'd be easier. Really didn't want a big age gap between the 2 children. X
