What’s the recommend time to wait to get pregnant after a c-section?

I thought it was a year too. I can’t remember what my ob said. I hate birth control. It took us a long time to get pregnant with our oldest so I always felt why prevent it? The only reason I got the iud is because I was scared to get pregnant too soon after my c section
@llcoolkay honestly it's not that bad, I just had a few issues before getting pregnant. It sucks my body couldn't recover like unwanted and I felt it was too soon to have another baby but hey I love my baby lol

2 years to fully heal but I feel like why heal all the way just to get it recut open 🤷🏼♀️
@llcoolkay, I’m waiting to get my tubes tied until some of this virus calms down a bit

My ob told me it takes a year for your body to fully heal. Never heard 2 years to fully heal. But to each their own. Sadly the third time I got pregnant it happened when my youngest was just 4 months old . Found out when my milk supply went down. I've had some issues but I'd do it over. I don't like birth control either so we don't use it or protection. We just hope for the best. Apparently this time around it was ment to have another child. Lol
