the worst thing about the shelter is older little boys bullying my daughter. like yes shes tall and talks well but they push her and pull on her like whyyyy 😭 and then the parents are aware that their sons are physically bullying a much younger toddler girl and they act like it's not serious. I know kids are kids but a little boy about 4yo chased my daughter and pushed her from behind then I guess it wasnt hard enough so he did it again so hard that she flew forward and fell flat. when his mom told him to say sorry he just kept staring and shaking his head no. like I bet he'll do it again and my poor baby doesnt understand about kids hurting yet. and as a mommy I wish she didnt have to learn about it 😔😔😔😔 if my kid was a bully especially to smaller children I'd take that serious because you never know when it will come back to bite them in the butt. I dont want to be a helicopter mom but at the same time I dont want her to get hurt. shes not used to this and still thinks all kids are nice like her. she'll be cautious at first around these boys because of how they treat her. then she'll warm up and boom they start bullying her again and she doesn't understand.
I would helicopter like crazy in that situation. I don't consider it being a helicopter mom when you know some of the kids aren't nice and are.bullying. helicopter to me.is when they are in a safe children's area and you won't leave them alone to play.
I agree!! I don’t believe you’re being a helicopter mom when trying to protect your child from physical harm. Just keep reminding your child that it’s ok for her to stick up for herself in situations like this. I think that’s an important lesson to teach even at her young ago. I know it sucks but it’s just what u need to do right now. Also if the bullies parents don’t say something to their child I have no problem stepping in and correcting that bad behavior, within reason obviously.
@ss3mom she is much smaller than them and I dont want them trying to hurt her even more if she sticks up for herself 😭 and the parents say something but the dont actually discipline them. like one parent just says the kids name and "dont do that" (this kids will does it all day long everyday and to other kids too) the boys mom that pushed her told him to say sorry he just stood there and shook his head no which confused my daughter, she thought she was sposed to say sorry and she kept apologizing. the fact that hes much older I feel like his mom should put in end to that. but at this point I'm going to have to teach her to say "leave me alone" and keep her close to me at all times
@dankerson I would just protect her. Talk to her about maybe why the children behave that way so she doesn't take it personally, but I would keep her away from bullies in your situation.
she kept telling me "sorry mommy" after. I had to tell her she didnt do anything wrong 😭

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

What would you do? - baby shower
SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever...
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
I would get in that kids ass parent or not if they don’t I will idgaf who likes it I’d tell them stay the fuk away from my kid period this wouldn’t happen twice 💯💯
