Every child is different I think the average age of successfully potty training a child is 3. I wouldn't be in a rush to get an infant out of diapers. It's a lot of work and it's really about training you for signals versus the child because they can't communicate
I tried when my oldest was 2 bought a cute potty and everything and he would just play with it . Had no interest in actually using it .
I waited till he showed signs he was ready . He was 3 when he became very interested every time
my husband would go lol and he would hold his and try to pee . we did the naked method and hes made it so easy to train him . and when he was finally ready to sleep without them at all (several weeks later ) he never had one accident at night . at first yes hell have accidents all over your house but it can be a fun process to watch them become more independent 🥰
Thanks for explaining! I agree, not good to push them. My friend told me that she started to train her son to use potty at age 10 months😬 I think it's a bit early
yeah I don’t know how I feel about that , I know every child is different . And if they’re able to do that so early props to the parents but definitely shouldn’t make the rest of us feel disappointed or like our kids are behind :)
Both of mine have been fully trained before 2. I know people who have done it at less that a year old. And there's nothing wrong with it. My baby used the potty from 3-7 months using elimination communication and it was great but it took a LOT of effort and I gave up when we all got sick. So cold turkeyed the diapers just before she turned two and by her birthday she had mastered it.
