What’s the difference between ACTUAL contractions vs Braxton Hicks?
I wait till I’m in so much pain I’m in tears because I’m not getting sent home
Real contractions are timeable . They became frequent and intensify. Usually they become more intense the more frequent they become. Real contractions don’t go away with drinking water or laying on your left side. Braxton Hicks are very common and sometimes they do hurt. Drink water and lay down on your left side. You can also take a nice shower or bath to see if they go away.
@shannamarie, oh naw baby don’t delete my comment. Just like I said clown. I’ve had 3 kids. It’s my actual experience. Call your dr they’ll tell you the same thing I told you. 😂😂
Try and time them to see if they are coming regular etc..yes probably better to call you can’t take chances when it comes things like that 😊
@jodie1991 Drink nothing but water and they'll see how I am doing at my appointment Wednesday.
@jodie1991 I have not timed them, my stomach is tight off and on... and I just had a bottle of water. I'm going to drink more. I'll call my obgyn once they open just to inform her too. I had a appointment for today but they pushed it to Wednesday. :(
I'm feeling then while typing all this.
Have you timed them to see if they have a pattern? When I had my contractions my belly started to get rock solid then the pain came and went all across my bump and lower back.. also if I didn’t drink enough water I used to get braxton hicks
Real contractions hurt. Braxton hicks are just tightenings with no pain. You will know the difference x
I feel a sharp pain middle lower area. They've been going on for like a hour now.
@jodie1991 my obs office pushes everything on the nurses. So I spoke to a nurse not my doctor
