In answer to you're flannel question.

I have multiple cloth masks and the ones with flannel definitely get hot if you wear them for any length of time.

My personal favorite material for homemade masks is ripstop cotton. Which you can still find for sale on Ebay. I also prefer homemade masks to include a pocket to add additional filtration. A nose wire is also a nice addition to a mask, it allows the wearer to have a more secure fit.

Also, a word of advice, please stop insulting @xxjayquinzelxx and questioning her intelligence. It's uncalled for and unacceptable. She's proven herself to be an outstanding human being time and time again, and is well liked here. I can also personally verify that she in fact is who she claims to be.

Even though I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you somehow were able to find this app, when it most certainly isn't available in the United States. The jury is still out about you and your intentions.

We ladies here have had to deal with an excessive number of fakes and are wary of newcomers. Time will tell if you are legit or not, now that you are on all of our radars, we will soon know if you are trust worthy or not.

Your kindess is noted and greatly appreciated @watz. I was worried about that for flannel :( I don't usually sew, so I don't know what ripstop is, but I'll research it.

I have already ceased communication with jayquin, I'm not going out of my way to interact with her. Whichever way I am addressed by an individual, that is what I will return to them. I didn't appreciate the witch hunt, so I made that clear. She has proven herself to you, she was out of pocket with me. We have two different stories to tell concerning her, neither are incorrect because it's our own personal stories.

I will not trivialize the experiences this app has given all of you, but I find it might be a bit premature to judge someone so harshly without any evidence. There's beauty in patience. If I have any ill will, it will be manifested, stay patient and watch me unravel. In time, everything comes to light. Stay wary, keep me on your radar, I'm not offended. I expect that we have to earn our places in life, not have them given to us.

P.S. I googled ripstop *sighs* wish I had known about this before my order. I order batik cotton though, that should be good, hopefully

@iuiblessing2018 Due to the current global situation, I'm not in the US right not. I'm not comfortable going through airports with my 22 month old. However, as soon as I get my order for this cotton, I can make a mask for my son, he'll be 2, it's recommended that under 2 don't wear masks, and he's not keeping it on. I'll make it to tie instead of looping around his ears.

@littleonemorning I was really hoping to be judged by my characther, not my profile pic. Funny thing is, I didn't see any rules regarding the use of profile pics. You've decided it's cause for speculation, so therefore... it's cause for speculation? I don't know anyone on this app, so I wasn't sent it, just a search in google. Did you think that when you said "hi Lady G," I was gonna be like "Hey girl!! Nuff respect!!"? I wouldn't tell anyone that I'm the woman in the picture, had anyone asked.

@thatregalmujer, I’m sure you have great character, but there have been some sketchy people on here in the last six months. Men, people stealing peoples pictures and pretending to be them, faking pregnancies, the list could go on. To my knowledge the only way you can access the app via google is to have already had the app.

We’ve also had several fake profiles coming on simply to stir drama with other users they don’t like. And they hide heavily behind stolen pictures. While yes, you can’t guarantee that anyone behind the screen is who they say they are, because the app has been unavailable for sometime and your picture isn’t you, someone who can easily be googled - it’s very questionable.

And yes, I know who Lady G is.

I don't even know how to respond to there having been sketchy folks on this app, idk, maybe sit and watch the profiles? If they are fake, they will show themselves, no need to go digging.

What drama have I stirred so far? Trouble came to my corner and found me, I didn't make any. I downloaded the app from google chrome. It was not in english, so I was skepitcal to download, but... just jump in right? See if you sink? Can't tell if I'm sinking yet, smh.

this is so neat! I love that they used the tissue as a filter. I ended up placing an order from joann
