My cousin got killed by a cop. He was coming towards the cop but he didn't have any weapons. He was shot 6 times when all he had to do is slow him down. He's white. Its sad but maybe it wasn't smart to run from the police in the first place.

@spookylyn, when I worked next door to a Home Dept years ago I would always older Caucasian men telling me to be careful for the “Mexicans hanging around for work or to rob ppl” or “they should be kicked off the property or go back home” comments and in my head I’m like Sir I’m more afraid of your son then the Juan’s and Jose’s out there. One man was flabbergasted when I told him I hired one to help move boxes from my apt to a moving truck and he was like omg you let one in your house!? Smh

I feel like the bigger issue here is NOT that he ran, he was committing a criminal act and that's what criminals do. The bigger issue is why tf more black ppl are gunned down per capita than any other race? Let's fix the actual diagnosis (racism) and not the symptom. Black ppl are scared af, as pp said, nowadays you can't even jog while black.

We as black people KNOW that we are a automatic target, sadly. Why tf would you run from the police knowing this smdh. Not smart. I’m so glad my brothers & nephews aren’t into bad shit/the streets but they know if they are ever pulled over by the cops do not move, reach for anything until the cops can see, no reaching in pockets nor argue. What even more sad is the black guy jogging minding his business when the two white men literally hunted him, shot and killed with rifles. Now THATS disturbing and sad.

This. It’s incredible sad and disappointing that it’s something it’s something parents have to teach their children even if they aren’t into bad things. Something as simple as a traffic stop can be dangerous.
