Ah ok I remember you saying the type of school it is. At my boy's school it is a few years waiting list to get in not even my neices got in, but because they started an Autism program there is why we were able to go. My youngest got in because his older brother did that's the only way he was able to because of what they call " Sibling priority " so I know they tend to choose those children first. Every district is different though

Yeah...they had a criteria and my kid only got in district priority. They had 58 spots yesterday at the lottery and he was number 59 and the first kid picked in district. Everyone before him had multiple priorities like siblings, Montessori experience etc. It used to be random but they decided to change that in February. That’s why I was so happy that he was picked as number 1 on the waitlist. To take that away seems unfair.

@itsmel, me too, they do great things for kiddos on the spectrum in a full inclusion setting.

Her son was #1 for the first location, he got bumped down it looks like.

Did your spot on the waiting list get bumped? I see that happen a lot here with charters. It’s not fair.
