I wasn't allowed to eat at all during my inductions so I went 12+ hours with nothing to eat.

Girl. Same but mine were 24.5hrs & 25.5hrs. 😩

For all 4 of my labor once I was In the hospital I was not allow to eat only Ice chips

They gave me clear liquids like chicken broth, jello, juice, and water ice.

For induction? They don’t let you have anything your whole labor, you get to eat right after you give birth though. I wasn’t even allowed ice chips.

@sorrynotsorry, yeah. It’s just in case you have to have an emergency csection...so you don’t aspirate or anything like that. It’s just precautionary; a necessary evil. It still sucks though. I was in labor for over 24hrs with both of mine. I was starving lol

I ate twice, once before going to the hospital ( my OB told me to eat ) and then when I got to the hospital I ate again.
With my son they didn’t give me anything 😭😭 I was only allowed to drink water.
