I don't know why you deleted my comment.. maybe they do things differently in Canada but the OP is in the UK. @mariapb was just stating that cereal has no nutritional value and that there are better options for weaning than just filling them with no added nutrition

@godzillaunicornmom doesnt matter what you do or post on a mom app, someone somewhere will disagree lol thats why i never post when i start feeding my kids, or when they do certain activities some find none age appropriate because not all kids develope the same, not all countries or provinces have the same rules. And not everyone raises their children the same. 🤷♀️
Can I just say that it was @godzillaunicornmom, that started the “drama” It’s obviously been a misunderstanding but she’s the one who started it on the original post and she’s the one who made a new post to continue it. No one was bitching at her and no one was telling her she was doing anything wrong. What do you mean? Rice cereal is empty calories. As long as you aren’t putting it in a bottle and are using a spoon for the cereal it’s fine.

@godzillaunicornmom, oatmeal is high in fiber and other nutrients. Rice cereal has Higher levels of arsenic. I skip baby foods and do table foods.
