so I asked my daughter what kind of theme she wanted for her 2nd birthday this Sunday. She says breakfast 😂😂 so here I am printing breakfast foods off google and taping them on white tablecloths and the walls. I think we’re gonna do a brunch theme for the food as well and we have some games planned. I have no idea what to do about the cake though... I’m thinking about picking up a plain cake from the store and just sticking some of her play breakfast food on it from her kitchen set? Hmm guess we’ll see how all of this turns out I’m literally making this up as I go. 🤣

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
