Sooooo how much should I expect to pay taking our Great Dane in to be groomed?? 😳 I cannot wash him.

Depends a lot on where you live. I actually have an appointment booked with a mobile groomer on Saturday for my 15 lb dog so I’ll be finding out what the Georgia price is like then, but when I was in northern Virginia the mobile groomers were average $75 for bath, teeth, nails and I tipped on top of that. Mobile groomers do cost more but it’s worth it for me right now that’s for sure
I am going to call around soon. Pretty nervous 😬 but whatever for the for the fur babies! Lol
@rayofmysunshine, I hear that! My dog would have me bitten to shreds if I tried any of that on him but for some reason groomers do just fine. They must be much more calm, cool and collected
@ltee, I’ve washed and brushed dogs teeth. But nail trimming makes me soooo nervous. Then cleaning ears can be way messy! Lol
It’s less stressful to just drop off and pick up a clean and happy pup!
@rayofmysunshine, what state are you in ? I’m a Professional pet groomer the price s are based on breed,size,condition of coat as well as temperament. I’m located in Miami Fl for a Great Dane they have great temperament s and are big babies;) I would say $75 and up that should include nails and nail grinding &wash&handried only ! “No cage drying “ and tell them to use a good oatmeal bath conditioner as well as clean the ears also ;)
I’m in Utah. And he’s no little dog. I’m gonna guess at least 120 lbs. He’s truly a big baby though. He’s super sweet. Would sit on my lap If he could! LOL

Javi and I struggled getting him in the bath when we adopted him. We got it done but Groot is seriously afraid of everything. Lol little man isn’t strong enough yet. Or this is what would be happening!
I think private groomers can be cheaper and very good if you ask around. I think chain places will be a lot more. Just my.opinion. we've known our groomer/boarding kennel lady for 20+ years. She even does their anal glands. Little dogs are $20 and bug dogs are $30, more if they need a fancy haircut. :)
That’s a misconception we do one groom at a table & it stresses the dog more to be filled in a pet salon with loud barking dog’s it’s based on experience of the pet stylist as well and always the condition of the coat on the breed “of someone chooses not to brush their long haired dif &now the poor dog is severe matted only we know what to do to help the condition of the pets hair properly
@wafflez, Oh boy! Our little dog is $48 with a full groom. But he just needs wash, nails and teeth. With my hand there is no way I will even attempt to do it.
Yeah with our labrador he needed a bath an we would have them do extra brushing he would always come back still shedding an banged up like he was abused so I told my husband enough that he could bitch an moan but I'd rather him flood my bathroom then be hurt by some jerk

@rayofmysunshine I thought it could of been due to frustration he could never sit still even when sitting hed be moving his paw to shake or trying to put his head on you to get love.
😬 idk last I remember it was 86 for a 74 pound labrador at petco. Wish I could help you out i now just wash them on my own nail trims, ear cleaning,etc
I think it depends on the groomer. Our 70 lb chocolate lab is $30 for a wash and dry and nails clipped. But we always do it at home unless she is being boarded because we are out of town.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
