Today the nurse asked me on my son 8 weeks immunisation if I want any contraception pills and I said okay but I’m wondering if they will cause weight gain !i already got 8 extra kg after birth I don’t want more !how did it work for you moms ?

A dr told me once it’s not the actual contraception that piles on the weight it’s just the hormones switch on the hunger part in your brain so aslong as you eat healthy youl be ok.
Just like when you are due on you want to eat everything in sight but if you don’t then you won’t gain weight.
I had the pill/coil and they didn’t do my mental health any good plus migraines so I don’t use anything anymore x

I only came off my pill to conceive my son. Went back on the same one when he was 6 weeks old and I've had no issues at all with weight gain, irregular bleeding, headaches. Nothing x
