Has anyone had issues with gestational diabetes during pregnancy. I've had it with all my kids but was able to control it, but this time around I can't no matter what I do. So my question is did you have to go into labor early? Or what else did they do.

Hi. I had it with my last two pregnancies. With my last I wasn’t able to control my fasting number so they put me on insulin and I had to do NSTs twice a week starting at 32 weeks. I delivered at 39 weeks.

Same here my fasting I can't control 😫 they just prescribed me insulin. Did the insulin help you with your fasting numbers.

it helped but they had to bump up the dosage weekly but they said it’s was probably because baby and placenta we’re getting bigger

ok yeah makes sense. My specialist doctor that I'm seeing right now explained that to me. He told me no matter how well I diet and take my meds it will keep going up as baby grows. Hopefully it helps me. Did your diabetes go away after birth.
