What did y’all do with your kids piggy bank money ? My son has well over a grand in his . On his birthday or for a holiday I take our 10-20 and have him pick out a toy but lol . I feel like that’s a lot of money to just sit around 🤣
Lol well any change we leave around i literally just throw into his bank. And we have atleast a dollar daily laying around . But we have generous family also
I’ve had a saving account since I was born basically. My parents would keep a smaller amount in piggy bank for spending and put the rest in savings. It taught me how to be a saver. By the time I was 18, I had nearly 10k saved up. Most banks have free kid accounts.
That’s what we’re kinda aiming for ! We have an account for college funds already that’s completely separate . And he has about 2500 in that. I want to keep money from his bank kinda aside for like his first car or something like that. But at the end of the day he’ll be aloud to decide when that time comes cause it’s his money lol
I need to make mine a savings account. My youngest has 2 almost full banks and my oldest is working on his 4th. I'm just lazy and hate waiting around at the bank.
Omg lol banks around here seem to be pretty quick but they’re not really open rn lol
You should set up a college savings account for him. We have one for each our kids that started the day they were born. It was my husband’s idea.
My daughter has a piggy bank that divides her money into 3 categories...spending, saving, and giving. She is allowed to spend her "spending" once a month on whatever she wants. Savings I put into her bank account that she's had since she was born and giving she donates around Christmas time
Really!? That sounds so cool
@briannalynn547 yep I found it a couple years ago but target recently had something in their dollar bins. It's a great way to teach her about money and she's really understanding it better now that she's older. Right now since covid-19 is happening she's saving up to go to the aquarium when it's safe to go.
@massgirl, that is the cutest . My sons not old enough to understand that yet but it would be good to start and let him do it when he’s older !
I set up a free one for my son. Just google it there are a lot of options.
Go make him a savings account. It can draw interest.
@briannalynn547, I never had to pay for our savings account. But we have a checking account already not sure if that makes a difference.
@briannalynn547, My bank has special savings account for kids. No fees.
@breee87, i have a checking account and savings already, I’ll have to see if I can add another just for him

My husband took them on his iPhone lol I did make up and hair....we need to save money 🤣🤣🤣
I need help!!! Something is wrong with my dog and I have no money or job to take him to the vet. I think hes dying idk
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

When you’re married you become one, including financially. His money is her money and her money is his money so there shouldn’t be no asking on either sides unless it’s a big purchase that needs to be agreed on first.
I’ve yet to save anything gotta have money first 😂💯
