@babycathy, that sounds rough! What kind of pill did you have? I notice that the mini pill seems to have a common side effect of extra bleeding, myself included. I only took the mini pill when I was breastfeeding, and then switched back to regular.
I took the mini pill throughout the time I breastfed and pumped. I only switched back to regular after I was done breastfeeding. I had a good milk supply, but I was also pumping + breastfeeding from day one because we had really tough latching issues. I remember having severe periods with the mini pill.
