Anyone got pregnant in March or April? Would like to hear how the NHS support has been so far. Thanks xx
When you go for appointments do you see Covid patients everywhere? Or are they kept separately? xx
@nam05 no hun, my doctors wont let anybody in the surgery that has symptoms of covid-19 or even a temperature, and luckily at my hospital where the maternity department is there is nothing else around, so unless your pregnant or have given birth there isn't any reason for you to be there. I think hospitals are keeping patients in a separate ward that have covid-19 though so I wouldnt worry xx
Yeah, but ended in miscarriage. Really good tbh! I had a scan 2 days after I enquired about one :) x
Hope you’re well hun. Actually my friend who’s a scientist said that most pregnancies currently are ending up in miscarriages for unknown reasons. And this is not related to Covid positive. Very scary & weird. Good to hear that NHS is still supportive xx
@nam05, Yeah 1 n 4 pregnancies end in miscarriages. Mine was at 4 weeks so a common time to miscarry.
If I didn’t test I would’ve never known I was pregnant 😕 xx
I'm 25 weeks today, I still see my midwife at my doctors but before you go in you have to have your temperature tested, wash your hands, use alcohol rub and put a mask on that they provide. When it comes to scans I'm the only one allowed in, nobody is allowed to go in with you, they have to wait outside and my consultant rings me for appointments instead of me going to the hospital to see them. They have been really good support wise considering everything that's going on. Couldnt fault them in the slightest xx
