Thyroid ultrasound.

I went in for my physical today and the dr checked my thyroid. She seemed off when she was checking it and checked it over and over. I have hypothyroid and I'm taking me my meds. I did mention I thought it was low but nothing much. Well she left the room and came. Ack in and said she wanted me to get a thyroid ultrasound as soon as possible because it was pretty enlarged. Has anyone had this done before? What do they look for?

So I took my dogs out today and we were in the yard. My full blooded Rottweiler went after the full blooded German Shepherd all because she was protecting me. Now she has never done this and I mean never. She normally just runs around the yard with them and avoids them and me.
