Separate. As long as he pays me what I need to cover the bills, I don't need to see what he spends his money on. It would give me tremendous anxiety to see all the random shit he buys and what he does not have in his bank account..if we ever had a joint account he knows those spending days are over lol
Separate we aren’t even allowed to know how much we both have in our accounts 😐

I’m married but my husband and I both have separate accounts and a joint savings. It’s easier to determine who pays what bills. And then the savings is big picture.
That’s exactly how we do it too. He don’t need to know what bs I’m wasting my money on 😩😂
@imacat, right 😂 we just have an amount we agree to put into savings and as long as everything else is covered, if I want to buy myself something I don’t feel guilty. He usually spends his money on me anyway cause I’m spoiled. And food.

Before we were married, we each had a separate account and a joint account. We each deposited our paychecks to our separate account then just transferred what was needed to pay the bills to our joint account.
We’re separate but we hold onto each other’s bank cards.
We have separate jobs so we have separate accounts. I don’t trust him to pay stuff 🙄
