I heard when you on child support they take your stimulus check from you when you owe is this true because I filed my taxes a whole month ago than someone told me child support took it

Yes if you owe back child support you will not receive a check. I’m not sure how it goes for receiving your taxes tho.

Ya it’s true I think lol I’ll be getting one hopefully from child support

I’m in Michigan and my husband owed back child support. They took our taxes but that was it. He still owed a little bit but we got our full stimulus check.
