So I work at a dental office and the governor of Louisiana said dentist offices are allowed to open back on Monday. I don’t think I’m comfortable working in these conditions. What would you do?
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Hello ladies question for you I work as a MA in a OB/GYN office and I love what I do however I can not stand the drive back and forth and I just was offered a position as a MA in a Dermatologist office closer to my home what should I do. It's a dollar difference in pay and the work days are different as well. Please any advice helps.
Everyone’s body is different and everyone’s pregnancy is different but I’m so happy I’m able to work 6-8 hour shifts and be a server I b looking at some post and I’m like relax baby u got an office job how u tired lol but like I said everyone is different 🤷🏻 ♀
My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?

That is really tough. How does the dentist you work for feel about it? Ours is only taking emergency cases and they check your temp and ask you questions before they unlocl the door.

We shut down as soon as we were told to. We didn’t stay open for emergencies because we are in a rural area so it would cost more to stay open and run the office than it would to just stay closed.
He called the girl that works the front desk and he told her we’ll go back on the 4th but that was before the governor made this announcement.
So I don’t know too much about the situation, but he’s just a general dentist so I’m not sure what all we would be allowed to do at this time.

I would definitely see what they plan to do to combat seeing people with covid. If they have no plans to check people...that is a tough call. :/

yes it really is. And then I’m supposed to start nursing clinicals in August so he might let me go since I can’t work full time. So it really has me thinking if it’s worth the risk or not🤔

Yes. I would talk to the office that you're working at and see exactly what they're doing to protect the staff and patients

I was thinking about this and all that jazz flying and floating in the air.😳😦 make sure the dentist gets you proper PPE, do you guys wash scrubs in office or take home? I'd even leave shoes in you locker! I'm supposed to fill in in July at an office for a week.....idk if I want to now!

Oh yes! I’m not working if he doesn’t give us proper PPE. We take scrubs home. I’ll probably change at work and put my scrubs in a bag to take home and wash and leave my shoes there like you said.
It’s so scary and I’m more worried about me infecting my kids than anything.

Ugh, maybe yours will only take emergencies for a while. How bad is it in your area?

I hope it’s something like that. Hopefully we won’t be offering every service for a while. We have 60 something cases. Probably getting close to 70. And only 3 deaths. So it’s not terrible. But it’s still scary to me. How is it in your area?
