yeah, I'm in Texarkana, but on the line if Texas and Arkansas so most of our businesses and stuff is on Texas side. I was hoping for a few more weeks of closure because we definitely don't need any more sicknesses!!

oh no. My grandma lives there. If I remember correctly she said they started all of this at the end of March so it hasn't been that long.

We are definitely staying in for longer 😂 I’m the same way let all the other people go first 😂 honestly nothing has changed in my town. We are a small town so we didn’t really have bowling alleys, bars, or theaters here to begin with lol. We don’t even have restaurants like outback, longhorns, Olive Garden. The most we have is kfc, McDonald’s, Wendy’s etc...People are still going out to stores for non essential things and to their families houses. Not saying it’s smart but I’m just saying it has basically been the same for us.

Yep! People who live on the border of Georgia with stay in place orders still intact will start traveling to Georgia for all the things they can’t do in their state. I predict a spike in infections not only in Georgia but the states surrounding Georgia in the next 3-4 weeks.

I’m so torn with all these openings now. I have a lot of family members who own small businesses who are really struggling right now. Not just struggling because money is tight, but struggling because if everything stays shut down much longer, their businesses will have to close permanently. That’s a hard pill to swallow. It’s a double edged sword. If everything is shut down too long, there will be total devastation of a different kind. I don’t know what the right answer is.

Completely agree. We didn’t have anything to do in my small town anyways so basically every one in my town has carried on like normal besides throwing masks and gloves on...our fun in this town is going to Walmart and walking around or teens would park in the parking lot and hangout there 🤦🏻♂️ but people are doing this anyway sooo

Awful idea. I’m still staying at home until at least mid May, when we start seeing the numbers and the impact of this. And I do not get why he’s allowing movie theaters to open, but I haven’t heard anything about department stores, Hobby Lobby, places like that. I’d feel more comfortable walking through my big, usually never crowded, Belk’s store than sitting in a movie theater surrounded by people. The numbers here are still rising like crazy every day. It’s nowhere near time to open up any kind of entertainment type places.
