I always prefer to do side lying when baby is nursing nonstop and baby is essentially laying down. You never want baby to drink a bottle laying down

I fed Eli laying down alot the few weeks i breastfed was easier on my csection incision! Propped her up on a pillow and football hold was the only way she'd eat.

Laying down is a wonderful way to get baby fed and mama rested. I would put a rolled up swaddling blanket at my babies back to help her stay in place and to give her supper on her side. Many lactation consultants actually teach this method.
