Well school is going to be closed remainder of the school year. Just got the notice Well it's sad that my son won't be able to say good bye to his friends or teacher but it's better to be safe then sorry. At least he can stay in touch through class dojo.

Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Schools have a 2 hour delay because its cold. No snow. No ice. But it's 9 degrees. So schools open late.

I'm SO surprised you're school district is JUST making this decision. That's crazy. Ours has been closed through the end of the year, with no confirmed reopen date, for like 4-5 weeks now. They have said it's POSSIBLE we'll still be doing distance learning when school is to start in August!
