My doctor just prescribed me Omeprazole/Prilosec because of my horrible acid reflux that is causing my nausea and upset stomach.
Anyone been on this before? How’s it work for you?

My husband takes it he says he doesn’t even have heartburn anymore or discomfort
How long has he taken it? Does it work instantly?
@lillylove, he has been on it for a month now, but within 48 hours he felt a difference, but it works within an hour to relieve heartburn
@michellemybell09, I hope it works for me. I’ve been in hell with this stomach acid. It’s stoping me from being able to eat anything.
I take it regularly. It helps all of that without side effects for me.

@lillylove, I couldn’t eat much, I had acid rising into my esophagus and I would get nauseous and vomit easily.
@fairykarmamomma, that sounds like me. I have it all in my esophagus and my stomach making me nauseous. I can literally feel the bubbles and gurgling. And my stomach is so sore and bloated. I’m hopeful this’ll work.
I take Prilosec every day, only way I can eat or function. My reflux is bad enough that I literally choke on acid in my sleep
