Day 1 potty training Charlie- one wee and a poo on the potty this morning and that’s all he has done, he’s only had shorts on without a nappy but I think he is holding it in as usually we’ve gone through lots of nappies by now and he’s been drinking, Ive just put a nappy on him while he’s having a nap. Is this normal to begin with ? 💙

Ahhh life with boys!! Boys are something else I tell u!! I grew up with 3 sisters, one being my twin sister, so the boy thing was new to me. Anyway my 3 year old is newly potty trained so he says he needs to go potty. He’s at the stage where he’s just now going by himself, can wash his hands alone etc. so he comes out of the the bathrooms and says “mom I peed on the wall” sure enough just next to the toilet pee all over the wall!! Any boy moms can relate?!?

I need some potty training advice. My son is 18 months and is definitely ready for potty training. He lets me know when he has to go but the problem is when I put him on the potty, he absolutely freaks out. He’s afraid to actually go. He’ll sit on the potty happily any other time though. Is this just a phase that I have to wait out or is there something I can do to make him less afraid?
