I am not a gamer know nothing about gaming......inbthe future I want to get my 2 girl kids a game system want it to be able to play DVDs and be around $60 and connect to wifi !!! Any idea what I can get ?

For 60 bucks?? Girl, nothin. You can buy A game for 50-60 bucks but not the gaming console itself.
I would look on marketplace or offer up for that price.
Yeah cheapest thing would probably be Xbox 360 gamestop has them for 60$ but it’s pre owned they don’t really sell those new bkz they are kinda an old console

While the switch does not take DVDs it is very kid friendly. I have my youngests locked down.
It has WIFI. They have Hulu and YouTube apps
ETA the regular switch is 299
The switch lite is 199
The switch connects to TV the lite does not.
Switches are in a shortage right now though 😬
