It’s supposed to be firm
I usually stack all the wafers and bananas in the pan and then I hand whisk the instant pudding for three minutes and then pour over and put in fridge for 30 minutes

@mamaof2soon, smh I didn’t even do that for each box I was literally pouring two cups of milk for each box so I use whole carton of milk smh
