There’s always going to be that someone who is against it . But I don’t care anymore. I tried Polly for like 3 months but I just wanted the girl but she wasn’t going to leave her bf for me so I left it at that. Plus they have two kids too 🤷🏻♀️

Im not old fashioned for me it’s more of a religious thing bkz god isn’t really accepting of that, it’s an abomination to him. if that was one of my kids I wouldn’t like it but I’d still love my kid regardless that will never change!

But sometimes so is the other female. It took forever to find a GF that mashed well with both me and my husband. She actually came to me and it happened naturally.

Plus she's in GA so long distance my state has an anti travel ban. I probably won't be able to even go to GA to see my newborn niece.

Alot of people wont understand; but remember its YOUR choice and YOURS only! It's also not yout job to make anyone happy, except you! Who knows; give him time, let him get used to the idea and his mind set could possibly change. I've seen this happen with alot of old fashioned folks, it takes a loved one to go down that path to show them what they need to see. ♡♡♡

I agree, sometimes a parent sort of has an idea of how their child's life will go, and it is hard for them to accept that isn't the way it will go. That maybe your path with have a little more adversity. But at the end of the day, I am sure he will see that you are happy and being treated well.
