My pediatrician told me not to use
Juice to get them to not be constipated anymore because it only is a short solution and can make the problem even worse and back them up again. I don’t know how true this is.
@mommakaylax3, he’s on half formula half BM. this formula is notorious for constipating
I second this . My son didn’t poop on his own til about 4 months . We used q tips w Vaseline and put it in his butt and gently moved it around for a minute . If this failed to work, he had us put a drop of baby soap and warm water in a nose sucker and squirt it up there . Cleared him out everytime .
@kellynicole, I would say 1/2 oz per 1 oz juice. Baby is 3 months so he probably won’t drink all of it but it’s a good starter.
