I’m so sorry. It hits home when someone you know, even just through others, has serious complications from it. My husband’s (very healthy) cousin spent 7 days on a ventilator in the ICU. He’s lucky to be on the mend. I’m glad to see that people here are taking it more seriously, but I do remember who thought it was ridiculous two weeks ago. 👀

We are getting slammed by it in Michigan too. My coworker’s BIL is hospitalized with it right now. They thought he was on the mend, but then he crashed and is on a ventilator. Hoping he can survive this. He’s mid-40’s like me, seemingly in good health, that’s the scary part. 😔
