So at my last appointment my doctor told me that I have to have an epidural this time around. The reason being that I had an emergency c section last time. I didn’t want to get one. I wanted to do a natural VBAC. Any other moms go thru vbac and not get an epidural?

I just had a vbac and had an epidural just in case anything happened . I waited till last minute I honestly had a beautiful experience and don't regret any of it
I didn't want to be put to sleep and not see her bring born if anything epidural is in and my hubby could be there
I can understand why they say that though. In an emergency they have to decide whether they can wait to do a spinal or put under General anesthesia both options carry even more risk. If the epidural is already in and your increased risk for needing another csection becomes reality then they can go straight into the OR and save you and baby.
That doesn’t seem right to me. I would refuse a epidural if that’s what you wanna do.
Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Any first time mom's that already had their baby? Did you get an epidural or go natural? I don't want an epidural but if the pain is too much for me I feel like ima have to but I prefer to do it without the epidural.
Anybody had a child birth with no epidural? I really want to have my baby with no epidural.

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
