Why does walmart feel the need to take out $132 in taxes every 2 weeks 😭😭😭
Girl my husband is taxed 2 grand a month! It's rediculous
@mamaof2babes, when he works over time which he does A LOT he gets sooo much taken out. His base pay is already high so his over time is really high
@mamaof2babes oh ya that makes sense. My husband works in a gold mine and his are never the same either cus there's always over time with things going wrong in a mine haha
@iamwhoiam124, over time is nice but also a freaking curse because of the taxes! My husband paints cars. It sucks at the end of the year we never get shit back for all the he pays.
I just looked at mine they take 137 out but that’s for taxes

Medica and social security
Are you paid bi weekly? That would be $66 every week in taxes which isn't much depending on how much your full check was. But like others have said, ask to see your w-4 if you're worried. You're probably being taxed as single with no dependents.
What pp said not Walmart’s fault. it’s all about what you choose when you started your job. Most people don’t get large amounts of money back. Some people actually have to pay back. See what you choose and if you adjust it. Might not be worth it though
Im not worried about it because i know its better for tax time but I dont make but 500-600 every 2 weeks so I'm definitely feeling the hit
@mommy_of_monsters here's a great article that explains the process

It's not Walmarts fault. Adjust your withholding amounts. You likely won't get a large amount of taxes back but you'll have more in your paycheck every month.
I don't get a large amount of taxes back either 😭
@mommy_of_monsters something is off then. Do you work full time?

😭😭😭😭😭
