How old were your kids when you took away daily naps ?

I didn’t take them away they just stopped wanting to nap at like 2 it was way too early for me
My daughter is still totally down to nap if I say “let’s go take a nap”. But I can already tell son will be probably done by two.
The second I mention nap time to my son (even if he’s noticably tired) he starts crying and saying no please like I’m asking him to clean the toilet with bare hands or something . He’s so dramatic lol

@briannalynn547, I have them on a really good routine since they were born so I find it extremely easy. My husband and I are also full time workers so having them on a routine for his mom and my oldest has been great
@jaybird1988, we had him on a really good routine too, especially when he was in daycare and I was working at the daycare . But since times have changed it’s different I guess . Cause we don’t have to wake up as early anymore . And we would get home so late that he would be exhausted and go to sleep and such . But since he’s not playing and learning all day with all the other kids I feel like he doesn’t get as tired out ? I do daily learning activities w him and try to keep the schedule as much as the same as possible but the naps is the only thing he gets off track with
My four year old just stopped napping recently. She’d nap at school when everyone else would but won’t at home so we don’t push it.
Well my kids take naps at daycare but never home since they were like 15 months for the last 2 kids the first ones like to nap till they were 3 they would nap so much on my days off it felt good
Ugh I wish lol even when he naps it’s not long . Some days but that’s rare
I never took naps away, but eventually they just stopped napping. My oldest 3 stopped around 2 but sleep 12-13 hours a night.
He’s almost two, so it makes me wonder if he’s slowly starting to stop
She just out grew them. She would sleep for less and less until she didn't need the at all. It was around 4.
My oldest stopped around 3, and my youngest stopped at 2.5. Now at preschool my youngest will take a nap because everyone else is but he has no problem staying awake and playing either.
