No ones being tested where I am. Our urgent care and hospitals put it on Facebook, we have 10 tests and are saving them for more critical patients, please dont come here asking for a test.

Why waste the limited tests if you have a few symptoms? Stay home and get better. Getting tested won’t change how you feel, they can’t give you medicine anyway

The county I work in had two tests for the entire county.

My county recently announced you can only be tested if you are older then 65, have compromised immune system or underlying medical conditions that make you at risk, or are a healthcare worker

Yep they arent testing young adults here either. My friends brother went in, he got sent home to self isolate.🙄 didnt even ask where he had been fk all. So safe.

Yep I was exposed to a confirmed case and then got a sore throat and pink eye which can be symptoms but I didn’t have fever or cough so they didn’t want to test me. My son now has a fever and cough

Most of the ones that go to the hospital here with symptoms get set home to self isolate. Only severe cases get tested and put on oxygen. Nothing else they can do. My sister in law is a respiratory therapist.

You really only need to go to the ER if you have bad symptoms. It’s in our heads to want to get tested and know but you’re going to put others at risk by going in. If you feel absolutely terrible, sure, go get help. My brother works in the emergency department and he has sent positively tested coronavirus patients home. There’s no medicine for them, they only stay if they’re having breathing issues. High fever? Take Tylenol and ibuprofen and stay super hydrated.
