I am seeing all these memes about wanting kids to go back to school. Am I the only one who is loving this? I am loving having my kids home with me, I'm truly enjoying all of our time together. In the summer we are constantly on the go, there's not much down time at all. I am really loving all this time to just hang out together & I feel so much closer to them. Yeah they fight sometimes but the good far outways that. And my son is so much happier & relaxed. He gets his work done from the comfort of the couch & he's not stressed like usual. I don't want them to go back to school! ❤

I agree with you! I’m working from home now, and I’m absolutely loving the extra time I’m getting with my son! I get hugs throughout the day, I get to help him with his schoolwork, and we play outside together everyday.

I'm so glad to hear someone else is enjoying it! Your boy is so lucky to have you there. That's got to be extra tough having to get your work done. I am a stay at home mom so I only have to worry about the housework. It's good to know you're appreciating your little one! It goes fast so we have to appreciate them while they are still little. My 13 yr old son comes up to me throughout the day to give me hugs & tell me he loves me. It's just the sweetest! ❤
@onehotmess, well, we just got done with hockey season where we had little to no free time, so all of the time I have outside of work now is amazing! I gained an hour each day by not having my commute 👍
I’m able to run the laundry and dishwasher on breaks from work, so I feel like I’m doing a better job of keeping up with housework than I did when I was away at work each day. And you’re right, it’s just awesome getting this extra time with my sweet boy ❤️❤️

I know what ya mean. My 3 yr old is still home with me & I dread her starting school. I hate public school & want to homeschool my kids so badly. My stubborn husband is against homeschool. He thinks homeschooling means you sit in the house all day & don't interact with other people. Which couldn't be further from the truth. I dread them going back. 😥
You want my kids too?? Lol
I have a 13 yr old & 3 yr old...they can be buddies. Send them over. 😂
