Trying to decide if my daughter’s 2 year well check up is worth getting out. I’m surprised THEY haven’t canceled it.…

My daughter had her 15 month well check today. She needed shots otherwise I wouldn’t have gone.

I’d reschedule it my son was behind on his one year shots but caught back up just fine everything doesn’t have to be done by the schedule heck they have like 3 extra years to catch up before school starts lol Idk why they push so hard for children before the age of 2 to have all the shots anyways it’s a lot!!

Our pediatrician is seeing well checks in the morning and sick visits in the afternoon. They also are either taking you right back to a room or having you wait in car until a room opens up. Any well checks over 12 years old they are rescheduling.

I would see if your office has any safety measures in place and decide from there

Our pediatrician is seeing kids who need vaccines and also kids 2 and under just because i guess the younger they are the more issues there could be... but if she doesn’t need shots and there haven’t been any medical or growth concerns I would cancel just to be safe.

I’d personally reschedule. She’s likely up for shots but I sure wouldn’t want immune system down at this time. Shots do not have to be on a strict schedule. Not worth the risk.

Our doctors cancelled and rescheduled for June.

They canceled my sons 5 year which has shots until further notice

I wouldn't unless they needed vaccines. If they need vaccines call and ask what they're procedure is. My daughter's pediatrician has two locations. They split up the locations to strictly see sick patients at one and we'll visits at the other
