My health visitor told me a few weeks ago that I don’t tell off Harrison enough when he’s doing something naughty which I do agree with as I never do. It’s just he doesn’t even acknowledge me when I speak to him. It’s like I’m not even there😕 Since we’ve been stuck inside for a while he’s been getting into things that he shouldn’t and I’ve been trying to tell him no but...nothing. He doesn’t look my way nor does he ever show any signs that he understands me. We were in the process of getting him assessed for autism before covid19 took over everything. He can’t talk or say any words either. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
It’s like he’s in his own little world and doesn’t react to anyone outside of his own little world. xx
@kathleenc my sons the same. He is 2 in July and still doesn't respond to his own name. No matter what I do or try he just seems stuck. I get how difficult it can be xx
Maya use to pretend she couldn’t hear me if she knew she shouldn’t be doing something.
My advice would be to take him away from the situation hun, distraction xx
Yeah I usually just take him away from what he’s doing as I don’t see the point in telling him off as he doesn’t understand me. xx
@kathleenc, He will understand you hun, they can understand more than you think! Way before they even start talking 😊
Maya at 8 months knew exactly what I was saying and would follow simple instructions at 9/10 months xx
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...
My boy is the same can't speak, doesn't understand what I am saying to him and just either plain blank ignores me or looks right through me. I can be so difficult but I have to tell myself that he may be able to understand xx
