My son just can’t win. Anyone’s little get a hernia in their balls ? My son was crying when I washed him down there . Took him out and it’s so swollen. Like so swollen. Only one though. I think it might be a hernia . Waiting for the pediatrician to call me back now 😭😭
@briannalynn547, His came and went FOREVER. It'd be swollen for a couple weeks then back to normal, off and off for bout a year and a half or so. I would just give him Epsom salt baths (this seemed to provide a lot of comfort) and a little motrin and he never acted like it bothered him. They offered the surgery but at the time, he wasn't even 2, I REALLY didn't wanna put him under. I'm glad we waited it out cause it would've been an unnecessary surgery for my lil man, as he outgrew it.
@leonardsquared, thank you for that information! He’ll be two in two weeks and I’m not fond of him going under either . But I’m going to give the baths a try .
@briannalynn547, My thought was that it was nothing life threating, he wasn't in pain so there would be no harm in waitin. We did agree if he ever acted as if it bothered him or he was in pain that we'd schedule the surgery. That never happened though! It's PRETTY normal that they outgrow it. Keep an eye on it and be aware of it Mama, all will be well.
Yes ma’am my son had a severe asthma attack which busted the muscles in his belly and cause a huge hernia in his balls almost killed him he had 4 surgeries to correct the issue and a lot of recovery all at the age of 3
That’s insane . Poor boy
@briannalynn547, yes I had a bubble baby till he turn 10 nbvfs I was scared of everything when it came to him
@briannalynn547, good I hope he don’t have to suffer cause I be ready to fight I hate seeing my baby getting picked on cause of how he speak
@cilla28, sorry you have to go through that :/ they didn’t see any signs of brain damage on him thankfully.
@briannalynn547, no they ain’t see signs with my boy either but by him having them so early he was impacted with speech but all else is fine
My son needs to survive this... I can’t loose him.. 😭😭
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill?
He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over...
My son has this but it was due to somethin called a hydrocele. Basically when their little balls drop, the trap door behind em is supposed to close. With Hydrocele, it either didn't close, or closed slower than normal, letting it trap fluid. In MOST cases it's something they outgrow by the age of 2.5-3. If not it is a simple surgery and does not effect them in any way in the long run. It looked bad, just cause one side was SO much bigger but he never acted to be in any pain. He was uncomfortable with me grabbin and lookin at it but never said it hurt. Me, not havin balls, FREAKED TF OUT when I first noticed the swelling. My son outgrew his, THANKFULLY! I could obviously be wrong, but it's an option.
