@megan-leigh, is wait until your partner comes home , his manager may have a meeting before they close tonight or at least let people know where they stand. If worse comes to the worse and there’s no other option then you’d make a joint claim for UC. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that xx

I'm surprised tbh. I think they're doing their best to cover everyone from self employed workers, to the unemployed. It's going to cost the country billions!
It really bloody is! I hope everything bounces back at some point. I am also surprised. Why would they need to cover the unemployed though are we all due a massive rent increase 😂🤦🏻♀️
@erincharlieconor haha, I'm private sector so luckily my rent is fixed until my landlord says otherwise 😂.
It will be shops and then 100% lockdown next. I can't get over how crazy it's got
@kerryy23, I rent privately too still In the first year so ok for now lol! I know , I knew this was going to happen but now it has its rather shocking and surreal.
