Mommy/partner question: do you and your partner take turns during night shifts for your baby?
With my first, more yes. DS1 had a later witching hour (8-12ish), so DH would deal with that while I napped between breastfeeding every 2 hours. But then DH would sleep from 12-6 so he would be a little more well rested at work. DS2 had his witching hours earlier (4/5-8/9) and then would nurse every 3 hours or so over night, so DH really wasn’t needed as much overnight and instead took on all bath time duties as well as bedtime for DS1.
What everyone else said. Now that we have 2, he's on toddler duty in the morning and I'm on baby duty at night.
I wish we could have taken turns. Hopefully this time is different
No but I exclusively BF my second and she wouldn't take a bottle.
He did help with my first though
We didn’t take turns, he just got up with me and catered to what I needed while I nursed.
Nope I exclusively bf so he wasn’t much help plus he was oil field when he was born so he wasn’t home much

They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Yes with both. I am moody af when my sleep is disturbed, i know part of mother hood, so when hes home he gets up with the kids since hes gone 2 weeks and home 2 weeks. I figure if i can do it so can he when hes here. Obviously i give him a few dags of rest before he starts cause he just finished working 14 12h shifts im not a monster lol but he gets 8h uninterrupted every night for 2 weeks 🤷♀️ i ask for like 4 days total of just sleeping in when hes home. Works for us
