I feel so bad for the seniors that are missing out on their last year of high school sports, prom, probably even graduation. Their last chance to be carefree teenagers, enjoying these last few months that they worked so hard for. I’m sad for my 4 year old that had to cancel his birthday party that he was so excited about, he didn’t get to hug his friends or teachers one more time. I’m sad for my daughters that miss their routines, their friends and their teachers too. My heart absolutely breaks for these seniors in care homes that are isolated and can’t even hug their families. So many sad stories are coming out of this and it breaks my heart with every one. Just be kind to each other, thank a grocery store worker, a mail person or any healthcare professional that you come in contact with. Spread love (from a distance) wherever you go. So many people are scared and hurting right now, we can all use a little extra love.
