My 83 year old nan is a lung cancer survivor, has emphysema and COPD. She called me yesterday to say the doctors are still requesting she attends her appointment for an unrelated matter. What the actual fudge?!?! 🤬 My dad decided to fly back from Thailand to stick around and ensure she doesn’t leave the house. I’m just baffled at their request, it’s all so conflicting!

It's been requested that people at higher risk should self isolate even if they have no symptoms so I would definitely not let her out if it's not important
