Always been a house rule to not have shoes inside my house 🤮 Also! I never understood why it’s a trend to have shoes displayed in a room. Like what? 😷 So you mean to tell me youre lounging in a room smelling whatever you may have stepped in.

I have a strict no shoe policy at my house. Like hello my kids are all over the floor. I don’t need you tracking whatever nasties that’s on the bottom of your shoes on to my floor.
I get grossed out when I see people post pictures and you can clearly see shoes on in the house.
It blows my mind.
Think of where you’ve walked! Target? Walmart? Public bathrooms? Those germs!!!
We don’t wear shoes on our house either. They are taken off as soon as u walk into the mud room
Ugh i wanted a mudroom!! but we bought our house already built. instead of building it ourselves ( couldnt wait for them to build it since i was a month away from my csection date with my youngest ) so i kinna made one in our garage lol!
@rndmshtt, having a mud room is so freaking awesome!! The previous owners of the house redid some things before selling. They moved the washer/dryer, which was in the mud room, upstairs into the master closet which is freaking awesome. I could imagine having a washer and dryer as soon as u walk into the house. We pretty much only use the mud room door. We never come through the front. I freaking love it and it will forever be a necessity haha!
When I come home it always feels good to take off my shoes and socks, then I wash my feet or use a wipe to clean them if I have to and then put on my slippers. My feet feel nice and relaxed after lol.

I hate my hubs for this. He always has to wear his shoes in this one part of the house. But I’m also crazy about my floors. I have to have them clean at all times. I just cleaned them yesterday with bleach and floor cleaner.
ugh that would bother me so much!! i dont think id be able to live with someone who kept bringing their shoes in since im a germaphobe. &’ hahah i am ocd with cleaning too!
We don't wear our shoes inside either. I have a closet right when you walk in the door. We put our shoes there.
Agreed we don’t walk around with our shoes in our house or anyone else . Just think where those shoes have been the toilet bathroom and any other place
I mean I’m not leaving my expensive shoes outside lol I did that once and the sun shrunk them and another time they got stolen ..
Weve also had so many shoes stolen 😭 we keep ours in the garage now.

My fiance has a hamper in the garage so he can take off his work clothes before coming inside the house. Then we have another hamper in the coat closet for us and one for the girls, for when we are out and about so we take off our clothes once we get in the house 😂 then must shower! LOl!! then relax..
